Event Management Seminar to Promote Professional Development in Jordan

In response to the growth in the events industry in Jordan, Zara Expo and Events UnLimited have joined forces to launch a series of seminars, workshops and training sessions to gather industry players under one roof with the purpose of promoting professional development to further improve the effectiveness of events as an important high-yield sector of leisure and business tourism.

Event Management Essentials is the first of such events that will attract 80 to 100 industry practitioners and professionals from the events industry throughout Jordan and the Middle East for a 2-day seminar that will take place at Zara Expo Auditorium on 17 and 18 October 2006.

Renowned international speakers as well as regional and local speakers will explore a number of key issues providing delegates with a platform for learning and sharing knowledge & expertise, while offering them plenty of practical tips and tools. Topics to be discussed include: Event Planning & Administration; Event Coordination; Event Marketing & Sponsorship; Legal, Ethical and Risk Management; Human Resource Development and Technology in Events. Confirmed speakers from the meetings industry in Dubai, Sydney, Beirut and London, in addition to local experts will share their experiences and provide case studies on events for delegates to learn from.

The Seminar is aimed at organizational personnel involved in the delivery of a wide range of events including meetings, conferences, exhibitions, concerts, award ceremonies, product launches, sports and entertainment events, festivals, parades … & others.
